Part of the charm of the Edwardian era (for me, at least) is the wonderful artwork and craftsmanship that people were creating then. Artists and home crafters were inspired by art reform movements and Art Nouveau designs. By the early 20th century, this style had evolved into designs that could be translated into pottery, home decor, jewelry, embroidery designs, and more.
On January 31, 2026, I will be leading a workshop where we explore the ideas behind the Arts and Crafts movement, share a meal together, and then make our own artistic designs. We’ll meet at the historic (and very craftsmanlike) TaborSpace in Portland, Oregon. Cost for the day-long immersion event is $95, which includes lunch and art materials.
