Owner at Lavender's Green Historic Clothing
I created Lavender’s Green Historic Clothing in 1991 to bring the clothing of the past to people living today. As the researcher, designer and primary dressmaker, I created custom and semi-custom garments for museums, reenactors, and Living History interpreters in the United States and Canada. While I'm no longer accepting commissions, I still enjoy women's clothing of the 19th and early 20th centuries. I am a public speaker, teacher/interpreter and a member of several reenacting organizations, so I find opportunities to wear period clothing at historic events throughout the year.
